Part of the Tasmanian Institute of Sport (TIS), the Silverdome is a multi-purpose facility with a focus on sporting users, particularly netball and cycling. 

The Silverdome Complex has a range of rooms and areas available for hire - catering for large and small sporting events, community events, meetings, training, exhibitions and concerts.

Sporting users have priority booking status, in particular for the arena space and cycling track.
